Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru ,History of Johor Bahru City Council began in 1933 when the Department of the Town Board is established,the promoted to the status of the Town council in 1950 ,in 1967 ,under section 15 of the Town Board Enactment 118 ,The Honourable Chief Minister of Johor has taken over April 1977 ,Town Council and Municipal Council upgraded to continue to enjoy rising standards of a city on January 1 ,1994 and known as Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru ,starting on this date ,the Honourable Chief Minister of Johor discharge its responsibilites as " President " with the appointment of the Mayor ,City of Johor Bahru.Malaysian citizens who are not less than 18 years at the date of the advertusement are invited to apply closed positions as described below:
